Fayaz Educational Institute, a J&K Government Recognised Senior Secondary School; affiliated to the J&K State Board of School Education upto +2 level (Class 12th) has been established at Nowgam Srinagar in November 1988 to impart quality education with the following main Aims and Objectives:
- To educate the students of both the genders irrespective of caste, class, colour or creed in order to eradicate illiteracy.
- To teach a child to be able to distinguish between good & evil, and to form the habit of choosing good rather than evil.
- To make a child to be able to express clearly in speech, in writing & to develop scientific temper and outlook.
- To inculcate the concept of humanism in the minds and souls of the learners.
- To universalize the process of education by developing National, International and Interuniversal understanding.
- To produce helpful & selfless doctors, engineers, judges, scientists, intellectuals, social workers, scholars and educationists to the society.
- To develop high moral, spiritual, intellectual & social values; create the spirit of constructive criticism, logical thinking & reasoning and encourage the learners to face the various present days challenges posed by the evils in the society.
- To provide free/concessional education to the poor, orphan and deserving students.
- To impart vocational education like art & craft, painting, model making, waste material activities, etc. in order to enhance child's skills, abilities and interests.
- To make the students to understand the sense of health care through physical training, sports & games and to have a body that is healthy, strong, vigorous and to know how to look after it.
- Obedience to Allah and serve His creation;

- Learn and Teach, to develop a human nature and behaviour.
